Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics

We use Adobe Analytics track learner engagement, time on page/slide, and how effective various content is. We produce and publish a lot of PDFs like job aids and user guides, so being able to see how our end users access and utilize the materials helps us to focus our efforts into more effective content.

Pros

  • Assessment behavior
  • Completion rates
  • Time on page tracking

Cons

  • Some reporting is limited, would like to see more options to export and share information
  • can take some time to get users up to speed with features and how to perform tasks
  • Reduced time to proficiency
  • improved content delivery
As mentioned earlier, Adobe Analytics helps us get quick data about our user engagement. As an example, we can measure various aspects of learning/training in a test or a pilot of a new system, and the visualization helps us to tell a story to our stakeholders after some time has passed and we’ve collected enough data.
It does a pretty great job, given that it isn’t a full LMS. Obviously an LMS is going to have a lot more data to pull in, but again, this is a great light tool that helps us gather early user experience data. This is great to refine our materials and make sure they are excellent and ready for rollouts.
The software is pretty easy to use, but if someone hasn’t really worked with similar software before, it can take a little time. We use simple searches to find help for specific tasks, and just make sure that when we have a newer person using the software, we spend sometime to help them understand it.
It was really a choice between Google Analytics and Adobe. We compared the option, and because the team is already using the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite for development, we were able to get the support and partnerships we needed to convince us to go with Adobe.
