Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express

Content creation for digital signage, social media graphics, web graphics, etc. We need communicate lots of messages to students, faculty, and staff at my university. I am a one person communications team in my department, and need to get several messages out in various formats to a wide audience on our campus.

Pros

  • Easy to design with templates and design elements.
  • Collaboration capabilities makes sharing and asking others for feedback to make suggestions.
  • The resize feature for various formats is my absolute favorite feature and a huge time saver

Cons

  • better video editing capabilities. I feel it could get closer to where Rush was.
  • Because there are so many tools and function, the interface seems a little cluttered.
  • I'd love to see QR code tracking
  • Saves time
  • Easy to use for novice users
  • Ability to move into other apps
For novice users that don't have a design background, the templates give a great starting point and inspiration. The stock photos are high quality, and the design assets make enhancing designs really easy.
Novice designers are able to start with something that already looks good when using templates. One of the challenges is when they start from scratch or just choose the "wrong" templates to start. There still is a sense of needing to know what looks professional, but overall it is much better than it would be without a tool like Adobe Express.
These features are time savers. It is also helpful to be able to switch between platforms like Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
I feel like Adobe Express is catching up to Canva in terms of an easy to use solution for novice or non-designers. Integration between apps like Photoshop, illustrator, Acrobat are essential for my workflow, that other products do not have.

Creating content for multiple platforms is very time consuming. Having the ability to resize designs to various formats not only saves time, but saves energy. When others on our campus are needing to create designs for our signage, encouraging them to use Adobe Express makes me more confident that the design I receive will be good quality.
