Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop is used by the marketing/design department. As an integral part of the Creative Cloud, it's a huge part of my toolbox when it comes to retouching, compositing images, image manipulation, etc. Using photoshop is dependent on the situation, however, it is often times easier for me to get the job done in Photoshop versus jumping between multiple programs to achieve the same effect.
  • Image manipulation and retouching like no other
  • Ease of use allows for you to get the same result via different avenues
  • Support for Adobe Photoshop continues to simplify previously arduous tasks and makes everyone's life easier!
  • Clipping masks and quick masks can be confusing for new users in terms of filling them out with a black/white brush
  • Layer types have been consistent for years -- is it time for new ones to expand the world of photoshop?
  • More facial editing features would be great (under liquify tool)
  • Photoshop allows myself and my company to get things done quickly and efficiently resulting in more time allotted to priority projects.
  • Photoshop is an integral tool in my role as a creative -- working on multiple projects, Photoshop is most likely open and in the background!
  • During team presentations and brainstorming ideas, I often am broadcasting my computer to our screen and am designing in photoshop on the fly. This lets us visualize and throw ideas on screen without overthinking it -- resulting in more time spent creating and less time ideating.
Corel is dated and feels like user feedback has not been taken into account. Adobe has been receptive to listening to expert feedback in order to deliver a user friendly program that allows people to create and make a living with their service. Photoshop has been my software of choice the past 10+ years and I do not believe anything comes close from a designing perspective.
Adobe is usually very receptive in terms of support and helping out users. They have been very helpful in negotiating rates, customer support in terms of consolidating accounts under one admin service, as well as providing online workshops and artist spotlights in the past. I am sure this exists already but it would be helpful to have software trainings that are comprehensive and can help people get up to speed on the program (with all the new features coming out).

Yes

Photoshop allows users to manipulate imagery, composite images, retouch, etc. Photoshop is also great for creating mock-ups of branded material, for example -- creating a mock-up of a t-shirt design by placing the design on the tee prior to going to print. This is just a small example of how Photoshop can save you money in the long term by providing detailed mock-ups prior to sending something to print.
