Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Premiere Pro

We use Adobe Premiere Pro in conjunction with other Adobe Creative Cloud Apps to edit video media for our company and for our clients. Adobe Premiere Pro is our video production solution. It is a complete solution that we use to edit and produce highly professional video media. We use it internally and also with our outside contractors. Adobe Premiere Pro is a robust software that gets constantly updated with the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

  • It has all the tools you need to create unique pieces of work.
  • It integrates well with all the other apps of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
  • It works on all platforms, not just apple computers.
  • Premiere pro has a big learning curve. Adobe addresses this by offering stripped down versions of video editing software under a different app name.
  • The user interface is intimidating to new users. The layout is made for veteran users.
  • Premiere Pro is really for professionals and not beginners.
  • The ability to edit massive video projects with lots of moving parts.
  • Integration with other Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
  • The collaborative work environment so that multiple people can work on a project from remote locations.
  • We have been able to produce video and film that have generated hundreds of thousands of dollars. The software is a drop in the bucket for its cost.
  • The app is continuously update because it's a subscription service. That way we don't need to buy new versions every time they roll out updates.

Camtasia is a lower end video editing software. There is limited features and not any integrations with other apps. I think Camtasia is good for super simple video edits. But Adobe Premiere Pro is going to give you all the latest video editing tricks and tools to produce amazing results.

Adobe Premiere Pro explains just what it is in its name, for the Pros. If you're new to video editing, you may want to try some lower end software such as Camtasia. Adobe Premiere Pro is for the professionals. You would need to take a course or go through a bunch of tutorials to start using the software. I am self taught through watching online tutorials. I'm sure if I can do it, you can too. The interface can be very overwhelming to beginners. But if you want a full solution for your video edits, I recommend getting Adobe Premiere Pro and learning how to use it.
