Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Stock

I use Adobe Stock for stock photos, textures, illustrator brushes, and Photoshop templates. I don’t use it for all projects but it is particularly helpful for clients who require photography in their advertising. I find it helpful when I need textures in Illustrator and have also used it for 3D assets used within Dimension.
  • Well-indexed and tagged stock photos
  • Vector assets
  • Strong photography
  • More clearly separate the premium assets from standard license ones.
  • Maybe get rid of the asset tiers within Adobe stock.
  • More 3D assets
  • Photography
  • Vector assets
  • Tenplates
  • Helped me provide higher quality stock options in my designs for clients in a variety of industries.
  • Saved me time in developing vector concepts
  • Helped me expand my breadth of design concepts
IStock doesn’t have the breadth of assets that Adobe has, and doesn’t have an accessible price point for individuals to pay a monthly subscription rate for its photo and other assets.Unsplash and Pexels have decent options for stock photography and texture backgrounds, but can be difficult to search. Pixabay has a less refined selection with lower quality assets—I typically don’t use it for the amount of time it takes to find a good asset.

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Stock go as expected?

Would you buy Adobe Stock again?

Yes

Adobe Stock is a good resource for a variety of stock photos and has a lot of options for vector resources and Adobe templates for photoshop and InDesign. I wish It had more 3D assets, and that it would expand its selection of photoshop and InDesign templates. I wish there was also a lighter option at a lower price point for individual freelancers to have occasional access to stock assets.
