Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Workfront
We are utilising Workfront's flexibility for multiple purposes. Initially, we used it just for timesheeting as a base, but we are gradually adopting improved processes to include project and resource management. All the data we captured in Workfront are fed to our BI tool for more advanced reporting to the team.
Pros
- Resource Management.
- Light Configuration.
- Easy Reporting.
Cons
- Keep on improving Resource Management Capabilities.
- Custom Fields - Allow to disabling.
- More Group level restriction (Custom Form and Fields, Hour Type).
- Delegate Timesheet Approval.
- Allow our organization to perform proper resourcing.
- Allow our organization to perform timesheeting to client billing.
- Allow our organization to perform proper project management process.
We are using Workfront as part of our Sprint Planning and Change Management. We use the Request Queue ability to allow our users to raise Change Requests, which we then perform our triage process on. This allows our team and stakeholders to easily identify progress and collaborate in a single platform.
When a new process is rolled out, we will require performing UAT testing, producing guides and training material (if required), and ensuring it is published to our SharePoint site. A change management process is in place as well to ensure that all users are notified about this process. Other than that, if required, we will provide refreshment training every year.
