- A tool that can be used by many people in the org to manage indexes
Mostly for instant search capability, then because SFCC option can be easier to use, but front end capabilities where not nice at the time we implemented it. Elasticsearch is more similar with database and index management, but was more expensive at the time + Algolia cartridge to SFCC was a good advantage, even if we did a full customized implementation at the end
