Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Remote control of the home PC from everywhere when I am on work or travel and I need to do some tasks regularly. Also, I help friends from around the world and this solution gives me the possibility to do that with no additional undesired registrations. Primarily I use it to connect to my office notebook from home.

Getscreen.me connects remotely directly from your browser, it's very convenient - no need to explain to customers what and how to install. Also, it has a very user-friendly interface. They also have all the necessary features for remote access (file sharing, WoL, black screen, session recording) and are significantly cheaper.

If at this point in the pandemic, remote access to a desktop is necessary for you, then AnyDesk is likely a solid solution. However, as the pandemic winds down, remote access is expected to become less and less critical, and thus, the problem that AnyDesk solves is likely (or perhaps, hopefully) going away. Given the bad reputation for using this program by scammers, many customers do not want to connect through it, so over time, I switched to an alternative to Anydesk - the service Getscreen. me, which connects directly from the browser.

Good option, but I switched.
