Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io

Our company uses Apollo.io as an intermediary between sales marketing and the client base to help facilitate and manage demand and outreach. Our marketing department has helped us create a significant amount of content that sales can then use in sequences and other outreach methods to engage the client base. In addition, we’ve been able to validate content and cross reference it with LinkedIn to ensure that we are targeting the appropriate ideal customer profile.

Pros

  • Central repository for lists and individuals for whom we target?
  • Easy to use list builder to gather profiles for email campaigns
  • Simple sequence build for demand generation

Cons

  • Technical integration with salesforce need to be improved?
  • The UI needs to be a little simpler
  • Customer service tries hard, but they are not so effective at timely resolution of problems
  • Difficult to quantify yet however, the listening intelligence will improve sales rep on boarding by 2 to 3 months
  • I’m going down to validation absolutely saves an admin time of at least two hours per week
After a bit of a learning curve the product has become easier and easier to use. It integrate with CRM Outlook, and teams for simplicity in creating managing and recording meetings. This building has gotten easier with practice. Overall the customer service team has tried really hard to make us happy however, there have been a couple of instances where it takes a lot longer to solve problems that I believe is warranted for the request
  • Outreach
Unfortunately we only used outreach for a short period of time in a comparative test testing mode versus Apollo.io. Apollo.io was more affordable and won the day

Overall Apollo.io like its peers in the market has a great place for sales professionals. One area that I have not yet touched on is its recording and transcription services for client interaction. It is well suited for managers and their reps to have coaching sessions after listening to different recordings. It can also be successfully integrated with the new AI models to create role-play scenarios. They need to improve problem resolution more effectively.

Apollo.io Support

The team wants to solve probelms, but we are finding that they don't know how to solve the more technical issues quickly. I suspect that they don't have a mature process for escalations, and they don't have a usable knowledge base article repository. They seems to push emails around to let us know that people are working on the issues to find solutions, but this takes weeks and oftentimes still leaves us without a resolution.
