Overall Satisfaction with Appian

We use Appian for onboarding new hires for our clients. We are a staffing company and onboard thousands of people a week. Our Appian solution helps us keep track of the many onboarding activities for each new person (candidate) we hire, including background checks, drug screening, form signatures, and more. The workflow management automation is quite valuable. We use it for our candidate tracking and are evaluating Appian for other initiatives.

Appian employees answer every question and follow up on almost every request. They are professional and the product platform is stable and predictable. We push the platform to its limits and it (platform and staff) is capable and engaged to support both our end-user load, our business users, our developers, and our additional technical users.
Our end users are able to follow the workflow and onboard candidates. Our developers are able to configure Appian to enable the business processes that the business requires. Our technical resources are able to validate that the solution is functional and can handle the projected usage volume with the help of Appian's employees.
We used custom BPM solutions in the past and find greater value in using Appian. I was not a part of the architecture team that reviewed other BPM solutions when Appian was selected.

The Appian platform is good for customizing workflows and allowing customers to track status by record (individual/candidate/etc). The rules and configuration interface are powerful. Appian is capable of bringing skilled resources to the table when a need arises. Appian employees are happy, engaging, good at listening, respectful, and easy to work with.
