Overall Satisfaction with Apple iCloud

I use Apple iCloud personally to back up my devices, which I use as a teacher.
  • It backs up your data in the background so that you do not have to worry about manually backing up data.
  • The data plans are inexpensive.
  • iCloud is easy to access from multiple platforms.
  • I have no idea how this data storage and backing up system works. I'm unsure how to access it, and it doesn't seem to hold much data.
  • I'm not sure where my information is backed up to.
  • I cannot quite figure out how to get into the backup system and create personalized back up.
I prefer to manually back up my data, so I'll default to Google every time!
I think it may be better suited for someone who is more versed with data storage and back up. I prefer the old days when you just plugged your device into your computer and backed it up to iTunes!
