Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

As an Instructional Designer, I create eLearning courses using Articulate 360's Storyline 360 on a daily basis.

Pros

  • Template management
  • Training opportunities with Yukon Learning
  • Motion paths and onscreen animation

Cons

  • Simulations are functional but a bit clunky
  • In Review mode the audio doesn't play until either Previous or Next is clicked
  • Our clients love that they can train at their own pace and don't have to pay for a trainer to travel to their business.
  • We have been able to reduce physical training trips saving client and company dollars.
  • During covid we were able to continue training without interruption.
A user can get started building in Rise at the drop of a hat. Articulate 360's Storyline is a little more complex, but it's similarity to Power point reduces the learning curve somewhat.
Captivate worked much like photoshop with the layering.

Do you think Articulate 360 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Articulate 360's feature set?

Yes

Did Articulate 360 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Articulate 360 go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Articulate 360 again?

Yes

I use primarily the Storyline 360 product in Articulate 360's suite. It is pretty straightforward to use and works pretty similar to Power Point. The review process is great as it let's team members add comments on the appropriate frame. There is a bug with review and it doesn't play audio until one of the player buttons is clicked.
