Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
We use it as our primary content authoring tool for eLearning modules. Our organization is a packaging manufacturer with 1000 team members, and we have a variety of quality and safety certifications that require extensive compliance training, as well as leadership development, HR themed courses like "conflict resolution" and other topics. We have a very small team (1 person - me!) who has a license for Articulate and does our course authoring, so I have to be a jack of all trades and utilize every feature and tool it offers before we publish a SCORM course out to our LMS.
Pros
- Make it easy to create professional, polished courses using templates
- Engage learners with interactivity
- Gauge learning effectiveness with various activities and quiz question options
Cons
- I would like to see some additional functionality in the Storyline toolbar that mirrors the updated toolbars in PowerPoint, etc. to allow for additional customization
- Having more options for player templates would be nice
- Would be cool if slide feedback on Review 360 could take you straight to that block in Rise so you could address the concern
- With an increased use of Rise, especially the templates and "real content", we've added 60 new courses to our LMS library this year, which is more than we've added in the last 4 years combined.
I use Rise, Storyline and Review primarily. Both Rise and Storyline are my go-to tools for content creation, which I share on Review with stakeholders so that I can request feedback and get their input. We have a separate LMS that we use to host and distribute SCORM content, so I don't have a ton of experience with Reach, but we did have an issue this year with an incompatibility problem uploading a file to our LMS, so I used Reach in a pinch to get the course out to 100 team members and it was well received.
I have not used the AI Assistant feature yet.
