Articulate 360 is the BEST!!!
Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
We use 360 to create interactive and engaging eLearning for our clients for personal and professional development. We also recommend it as a tool for clients who are transitioning into the field of L&D.
Pros
- Rapid prototyping
- Stakeholder feedback through the Review 360 option
- Transferring or sharing ownership of the course for collaboration
Cons
- Accessibility
- Multiple people working on the course simultaneously would be nice
- My teams are able to rapidly prototype deliverables which allows us to move through the feedback/review process with the SMEs more quickly
- The ability to rapidly create final deliverables allows us to decrease our speed to market time by 25% on average.
- Since this is such a well known tool, it decreases the amount of "ramp up" time needed for an ID when they come onto our projects, therefore it decreases our resource cost by more than 50% on average, thus they can focus on development and not learning a new tool.
We regularly recommend the Rise and Review features which allows us to engage a wider range of human capital (instructional designers). We tend to leave the Storyline for our more experienced IDs and they're not usually the clients that we serve. However, the learning curve is very minimal for Rise and that allows us to help people who are transitioning into the field the ability to gain experience with the tool which is generally needed when they're applying to jobs.
Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to try out the AI Assistant feature just yet, but I've heard great things about it.
Articulate is a more robust tool than ActivePresenter, and has a much more user-friendly learning curve than Adobe Captivate.
While there are plenty of use cases for the other tools if someone is considering price, features, and customer service, but when it comes to the comprehensive suite of applications, Articulate 360 wins hands down! I work with people who are transitioning into the field of learning development and they're often not able to purchase a 360 license rt away, so they learn the less expensive (and less robust tool ActivePresenter), but I always recommend when they're able to they should get their subscription whether it is paid for by their company or if they're a independent.
