Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We use Storyline 360 to build engaging, accessible content for DSHS staff new to the agency. SL and Rise help us quickly and efficiently get content to the learners, just in time and on their schedule.

Pros

  • building engaging content
  • provides access to free images and icons
  • creates accessible content, with developer input

Cons

  • Accessibility - the next/previous buttons are buried under player buttons
  • captioning - no speech to text option w/o AI
  • reduced risk by providing consistent messaging with important topics.
  • quickly deploy responsive training when new legislation or rules impact the work.
I have used rise, SL, and Review. I love the collaborative nature of Review.
I played with the AI Assistant during it's free trial. I loved the tool, but am trying to convince my administration to move forward with it
its easy to use. its origins as a PowerPoint plugin make it quick and easy for learners to move around in. Rise is a great rapid tool, that novices can get in and build. Review provides an easy way for reviewers to provide direct, specific content.

for DES, I developed training for all state employees. Articulate helped us get content out to 80,000+ staff. It also helped us create training in response to changing enviroments.

For teaching softer skills, it seems a little more difficult without an instructor available to give real time experience.
