Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

I use both Articulate 360 Storyline and Articulate 360 Rise to build e-learnings whether they're Standalone pre-work or post work part of Blended learning, Etc. I also use it for any type of screen captures to train on any type of new software or processes. That can include anything from soft skills to technical skills really whatever is required of my organization. As far as pre-work it usually is something that they might have to take to level set before they attend a course it might be an assessment that they have to take that's going to be discussed in the class. Post work might just be a reiteration of some key points or it might just be a additional information that supplemental to the course itself. I like using both storyline and rise as they are both easy to use.

Pros

  • Incredibly easy user interface
  • Interface as well with PowerPoint
  • Pulls in translations seamlessly
  • Looks good and the rise course build is very modern looking

Cons

  • I have noticed that sometimes on my storyboards that I build in PowerPoint when I import them in there's some things that don't translate well in terms of text boxes becoming images.
  • I would like to be able to have a little bit more control over how the voices sound without having to use coding
  • We don't currently use any AI features but I'm looking forward to being able to use that in the future
  • My ability to build things quickly definitely has made Articulate 360 a great purchase
  • The ability to get up and running with Articulate 360 quickly also allows for a great Roi
So I only use a storyline and Rise we are not allowed to use the review piece because it is cloud-based and there are concerns with security breaches but when I was able to use that it was nice to be able to use maybe put something together and Rise then in a great something in from storyline maybe a branch scenario and then use the review software I missed that probably the most
I'm due to security restrictions and concerns I don't use any of the AI features at this time per company guidelines
I used to use Captivate and it was clunky and difficult to use whereas storyline especially looks just like PowerPoint which I was very familiar with so the user interface was extremely fast to learn easy to learn and then once you have a good grasp of everything the triggers and the variables it's super easy
Again Captivate is just was a very clunky very difficult user interface it took a long time to learn people really struggled with it whereas Articulate 360 just has a very super easy interface

Do you think Articulate 360 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Articulate 360's feature set?

Yes

Did Articulate 360 live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Articulate 360 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Articulate 360 again?

Yes

I really haven't found anything that it doesn't work well with. You do have the branching so if you did have someone who maybe didn't pass a knowledge check you could get it to Branch to introduce certain pieces of information again the the only issue that I really do struggle with is the importing in of a storyboard via PowerPoint.
