Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We use Articulate 360 to create learning opportunities and experiences for our business partners. It is an excellent tool for quickly and effectively building training modules. We use it for teams ranging from 5 people to building enterprise-wide training for 15,000+. The tool is easy to learn and outputs in an easy-to-use format.

Pros

  • Empower users to build great trainings.
  • Provide content library and templates that give a solid foundation.
  • Output content in a way that you can easily upload to an LMS and distribute to your audience.

Cons

  • There are some minor issues with screen recording that make the experience feel more clunky than some other tools.
  • There are feature requests on the community pages that have been there for a very long time and have not been added.
  • Decreased training development time.
  • Decreased training development cost.
  • Wider training audience.
  • Better training, evaluation, and reception.
I have used Storyline and Rise extensively and feel that they both serve their intended purposes extremely well. Articulate continues to improve upon them to keep the tools competitive and exciting to use and build new things.
I have very little experience with the AI assistant, but I have heard that it has also helped with translating content.
Usability is where Articulate shines. Anyone who has ever built a PowerPoint can open the tool and quickly understand how to use it. The more complex aspects of the tool are also very user-friendly, but you can build great content without ever going into advanced variables or JavaScript.
Articulate 360 is much more intuitive and user-friendly than other products. If you can imagine it, you can probably build it in Storyline, but it won’t take you weeks' worth of learning and reading to figure it out.

The tool is incredible for eLearning development and usable by people who have very little experience, all the way up to industry-leading innovators. It guides you along on how to use it, but it doesn’t restrict you if you want to do some really cool, creative things. Again, the screen recording functionality could be a little more seamless.
