Overall Satisfaction with Articulate Storyline
We have a team of dedicated developers who work in multiple platforms. One of our main tools used with multiple clients is Storyline. We often recommend Storyline for ease of use and versatility. Using this tool allows us to reach a high level of fidelity and be able to turn over the work to the client for their own on-going maintenance.
- Great for rapid authoring of e-learning modules.
- Can be used as a simulation or prototyping tool.
- Great for creating e-learning that leverages variables for personalized learning experiences.
- Some functionality is quirky. For example Arial font renders strange kerning issues that cannot be overcome.
- Image compression can be unpredictable. It is hard to include clean screenshots that require high-detail.
- Player control customization can be limiting.
- In scenarios where development is high-quantity, meaning lots of modules, Storyline allows for great speed and efficiency.
- Efficiency gains are harder in low volumes.
- Great for handing over content to clients for their own on-going maintenance.
Storyline is a lot more user-friendly than the competition. Output looks a lot more polished with little input.
