Overall Satisfaction with Authorize.Net

I use consult my clients to use Authorize.net to connect their payment processor to various interfaces including apps and websites.
  • Authorize.net has a fairly seamless connection for a large variety of websites & apps
  • Their virtual terminal is simple, but also fairly easy to use
  • When working with a web designer, I've been told that Authorize.net is a little complicated to install.
  • It's a widely accepted "gateway" option
  • cost is low
  • As I recommend Authorize.net to my clients, I can only say that it does the job it's meant to do. For the most part, it works in the background and allows the client to use their chosen website or app platform.

The great thing about Authorize.net is it's widely recognized and accepted as a gateway for payment processors and websites or applications. The cost is minimal as well. It's a good service when a customer wants to keep their existing website or application, but wants to change the native payment processor that is available. I don't suggest it as a stand alone processor as there are many more services that provide better virtual terminal processing capability for lower cost.
