Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

We use Avalara for motor fuel excise tax determination, as well as other excise tax return preparation and filing.

Pros

  • Customer service.
  • Product performance.
  • Accuracy.

Cons

  • Keep adding content.
  • Keep working on making the product more user-friendly.
  • More CRUSH conferences! ;)
  • Has greatly reduced our time spent on preparing returns.
  • Has eliminated the need for us to manually make rate changes.
  • Keeps us in compliance with new jurisdiction requirements.
It is great, but there is always room for improvement to make it easier for the user (fewer clicks to get something done, etc.)
We have benefited from returns filing...we use Avalara for all of our excise fuel filings.
Avalara is great for excise tax return preparation and tax determination.
