Overall Satisfaction with Avalara
We are using it in our ecommerce system to calculate sales tax. One of our companies also use the tax returns filing module. AvaTax allows us to enter the states with nexus and it calculates the correct sales tax. We also use it to tell us when we are reaching nexus in other states.

- Provides a lot of analysis on our sales tax position by state.
- Returns filing is very convenient.
- Our account manager changed and we had some issues with an open quote.
- Difficult to change thresholds mid year.
- Always 100% correct sales tax calculation at time of checkout for ecommerce.
- Much reduced time on tax returns and filing.
- Avalara provides analysis on compliance.
I have not evaluated any other sales tax products recently.
