Overall Satisfaction with Avalara
We use AvaTax for tax calculation and Avalara Returns to file the US and Canadian returns. AvaTax is used to calculate taxes on our invoices with the correct rates and taxability determinations. A significant number of our returns are also filed using Avalara Returns, freeing up time for my team to focus on more value added activities.

- Timely filing and payment of returns
- Taxability determination for most products
- Response with statutory support to questions regarding the taxability determination on certain tax codes
- Responses to account questions sent to account manager are too slow and often require multiple follow ups to get a response
- Need additional tax codes to account for changing technology in the software industry
