Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

We use Avalara to help calculate all our sales tax. It helps us stay in compliance with all the states.

Pros

  • Calculations
  • Staying on top of regulation changes.
  • Staying on top of rate changes.

Cons

  • The custom rules deal is always a pain.
  • Clearer requirements for setting up where we collect and how it should be filled out.
  • Customer service is always a good place to have improvements - stop with the canned responses.
  • Good - helped us know what states we needed to get registered in with economic nexus.
  • We used to calculate the rates on each invoice, but have since relied on Avalara to calculate accurately for us.
  • ERP
We already have it so just wanted to keep it.
Always room for improvement.
