AVI-SPL is our trusted AV partner for Canada and
the US. We work with them primarily on real estate projects AV in any
form. These can range from standard space signage and huddle spaces to our office
gyms and multipurpose rooms, and our er executive spaces. We
rely on AVI for ongoing support and development of these spaces after
development.

- Scope of knowledge and partnerships. - AVI is capable of working with most technologies, and vendors at a competitive rate.
- Coverage in Canada and the US. - AVI has shown that they are willing to work in our most remote field sites.
- Access to resources. - Avi provides direct access to their design engineers and project staff to reduce middle man overhead.
- Consistent quality. - While stellar in most locations, some centers leave room for improvement. AVI is a very large company, and that sometimes translates into poor experiences in different locations
- Inconsistent turnover. - The AV industry was hit hard by covid, and AVI is not immune to those effects. AVI needs to do more to keep their star performers well paid and well supported, remaining with the company.
- Perhaps too strong a focus on integration. - AVI's solutions are very integration heavy and sometimes result in significant overhead in future deployments. This is mitigated by their willingness to create and maintain company-specific AV standards.
- We make heavy use of their Toronto and Houston implementations. Both with heavy input from our design team. These spaces have relatively few problems.
- Conversely, some integration heavy projects like our Calgary ONE project, while impressive, had very high incident counts over their lifespan and had cost more than expected to maintain.
- AVI's willingness to design around our requirements is very helpful in ongoing support and work.
Avi has had little involvement with our fully remote/hybrid implementation. This was largely an internal software initiative to bolster our teams' infrastructure. Avi was always willing to assist during this time but COVID made justifying large-scale internal projects difficult. We are looking forward to working with them as we expand our hybrid approach to work.
Our other AV partners are not available on TrustRadius, but AVI SPL is our premier partner due to national support and excellent account management. They are not the best at everything, but overall are the best single choice for our needs. We still use other partners when required only if AVI is not the best fit in a specific situation.
