Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL

AVI-SPL is a large integrator that we have worked with. They are one of the largest globally and have the ability to execute large global AV projects. We looked to AVI-SPL to provide AV solutions for a global project. Specifically we reviewed AVI-SPLs capabilities for a project that involved North America, Europe and Asia sites.

The AVI-SPL service desk provides support for users globally with multiple VNOCs supporting different regions. Proactive management is key to success and having same time-zone support is key. We did not go down that path but SNOW integration is a great offering to streamline ITSM. Symphony was something we looked at as well but chose not to adopt as other solutions in the market were a better fit.
AVI-SPL's Gold certification by Microsoft sets them apart and provides a level of support with MS Teams room implementation that is unparalleled. Their engineers know the intricacies of Microsoft Teams Room implementation including infrastructure, integration, support and service and this contributes to the success of MTR projects. Only two of the integrators we looked at had this certification.

AVI-SPL is well suited for large projects. They have a solid engineering team and ability to execute large projects. However small fast moving projects are not their forte. It seems like teams have challenges communicating with each other internally but each individual team is capable. Account management in our specific region has been a challenge with notable turnover in the past year or two.
