Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used AWeber to send emails to students about different housing events and important housing information. It helped us manage our mailing list for each semester as well as helped us create templates and use those for each of our emails. It also provided the students a way to unsubscribe from our list.

Alternatives Considered

MailChimp, Talisma Social CRM, Blackbaud CRM and HubSpot

It did its job and it did it well. AWeber had all of the features of the competitors, but AWeber was the easiest to use of the bunch. The other software had too many bells and whistles and caused confusion among my team when we worked on different mailings and campaigns.

Likelihood to Recommend

AWeber is great for larger email lists that need to be segmented, but not for online marketing if you want fancy templates or automation. AWeber sends emails fast and has a streamlined backend, but that doesn't give me all of the flexibility that I get from other email service providers.

AWeber does the job and emails with ease
