Overall Satisfaction with Axcient x360Recover

We are an MSP that services around 5K machines in the Austin, TX and surrounding area. We use Axcient internal and resell to our clients as a BDR service. It has saved several of our clients within the first year of service that got it by a Ransomware virus. It backs up hourly and being able to run virtualizations when a server down is fantastic.

Pros

  • Backs up data onsite and offsite
  • Virtualizes Backed up data
  • Restores quickly to both VM and bare metal devices

Cons

  • It would be nice to have less clicks to enter a clients device.
  • Better reporting.
  • Access to API to we can add it to our internal monitored Dashboard.
  • Switching from Datto to Axcient has saved us 75% ROI.
  • Uptime for Axcient in the last 12 months as been 99%
Reliable, Faster and Cheaper then the competition. Datto gave us a bad taste in our mouth on our very first client. We purchased their recommended hardware, setup and our initial install at a trial clients office with the engineer and one of our techs and when the time came, the engineer was unable to get their own product to work as expected. Luckily for us, we already explained to the client that this was a trial so we were not held accountable but if this was a live instance, it would of been embarrassing.

I feel that Axcient x360Recover is well suited for any environment, both large and small. Weather you build your own device, BYOD or purchase one of theirs, it all works great. I even use it at home via the direct to cloud option. Well work the investment. I am unable to find a downside at this time.
