Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR®
It is used to support our personnel files, payroll, health insurance and 401K. We recently moved the company 401K to Fidelity and BambooHR® assisted us with setting up a 180 file feed to support payroll and employee contributions. We also recently set up HSA accounts through the portal as this is a new offering to employees and is also set up with the payroll deductions.
Pros
- It is user friendly
- It has great reports for payroll
- It is easy for employees to see all their information in one place
Cons
- BambooHR® does not offer Workers Comp
- The response time for when a case is submitted is long
- No dedicated support specialist
- Helped with transparency and communication with onboarding
- Clear with offerings, deadlines and individual contributions
- Good payroll reports for tracking costs
The payroll reports are very in-depth and help us to track different costs. Also, we now finally have the 401K integration completed and this helps us to see the platform support payroll by sending the information directly to the investment group and now shares their reports to ensure accurate deductions.
I don't know that I would say they are very similar as we use TriNet because of their PEO offerings. TriNet has everything built in and is a good platform for companies with 50+ employees. TriNet also is very legally sound given the type of reporting they do for multiple states and their I-9 verifications.
