As a repository for documents, meeting notes, and communications on specific projects.

Pros

  • Threaded messages with attached documents.
  • Editability.
  • To-do lists.

Cons

  • Calendar flexibility.
  • Tags on uploaded documents.
  • Confusing to manage projects and team members within the system at times.
  • Better clarity on communication, especially when the need arises to review old conversations.
More user-friendly, but less-powerful.
We have a lot of legacy info in Basecamp, so even if we stopped using it, we'd still need access to it.
