Overall Satisfaction with Basecamp
Our digital marketing agency uses Basecamp primarily on client services and occasionally for internal company projects for the purpose of keeping everyone in communication and aligned on tasks that need to get done for particular projects. We particularly enjoy is how it serves as a repository for collaboration; we are able to look back on what's said and make sure no one's flipping on words.
- Project management not only among your team internally, but for clients as well for tasks.
- UI/Design of the product in intuitive
- Like the email alerts so we aren't missing anything if outside of the platform
- Mobile version could use some improvements
- Wish there was more ability to customize the interface.
- Limits to file uploads and storage can be quite annoying, especially if you are working with design files which can get quite large
- Day to day communication replacement with clients has been a life saver
Trello - Good for personal task management, but I feel for big groups who are unfamiliar with the tool, it can be confusing.
Slack - Great for team communication, but might not be a ideal solution for clients. Leads to someo of the same problems with email communication (lack of people seeing messages).
