Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

- Product Options are numerous and complete
- Order organization.
- Customer contact.
- I am not a web guy, I just tell ours what I want to be done. He does not seem to have a problem changing anything I want.
- I would like to see more customization available in the Order Notifications. My products are built to order and may take up to 3 weeks or more to ship. The ability to continuously send status updates to the customer would be great.
- I started this company on BigCommerce, I don't know what would have happened if I would have used something else. I actually tried to use Go Daddy store, but with my options it would not have been possible.
- I think BigCommerce will help with growing your business, but you will only get back what you put in.

So, I had to look up what API's were, and here is what I have to say about BigCommerce. If you have a little bit of knowledge about making a website, just enough to be dangerous, you will be able to build it yourself. It will not be your dream site, but it will work. The back end, adding products, customizing the layout of your product page, and adding photos, you will be able to do. It is easy and very structured. But what I suggest is hiring someone to do the heavy lifting. Get one of the certified experts or use your own webguy to do the front end. You will be much happier.
