Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
Big Commerce host our on-line religious goods store, Truedevotionasl.com which would be considered a department of our organization. The store extends our physical store here in Massachusetts and allows our most popular store items to be available throughout the United States. It also has the advantage of being open 24/7.
- Everything needed to run an online store is contained in one package.
- All aspects of selling and buying work flawlessly and maintained. I have never experienced downtime.
- The help department is knowledgeable and eager to help.
- Big Commerce supports Mail Chimp which handles mail campaigns with built in automation.
- The only thing I can think of would be to make overseas shipping easier but I see that as a problem with the post office. Rates for insured delivery are too high; some are willing to pay but it takes time to give the customer an exact price. We discourage out of the country sales—too much hassle.
- It has definitely streamlined operations. The store with all its aspects can be accessed from any computer at any location allowing for multiple operators to do a specific job such as fulfilling orders, keeping inventory, adding products, enhancing visuals, managing the customer base.
- The increase of sales in one year has easily doubled.

Integrating with USPS and UPS is a great feature. Integrating with MailChimp is another. Google statistics is also very helpful. I believe that is all we use for integrations I should add that through Big Commerce we used an outside company to update our store and give it a new look. It was smooth and there was no downtime.
The other companies, which I don't want to mention, were too cumbersome, more expensive and there were too many add-ons that came with a price for each.
