Overall Satisfaction with BizLibrary

BizLibrary is being used with our hospitality supervisors and potential supervisors in our company. I use it in conjunction with classroom training and it works very well. I never have an issue finding materials that fit our needs and address a skill gap. We utilize it mostly for soft skill training. I love the aspect that our learners have unlimited access which helps us to provide a culture with an emphasis on learning.

Pros

  • It offers current training videos and large variety so I never have to search for material for training.
  • Tracking and user-friendly platform, this enables me to be able to report to my leadership team with accurate and relevant information.

Cons

  • In 5 years I have had 5 different client success reps and feel like I have to start all over each time, I wish there was a way to create some consistency in the transition, but each time I feel like I lose ground because I get a new person with a new focus.
  • I'd like to see the gaming feature of BizLibrary expand.
  • Turnover has improved some.
  • Employee morale has increased.
BizLibrary offers so much more in their learning library in comparison to Glassdoor.
I have never had a bad experience with support, they are quick to attend to your needs, and are knowledgeable and patient.

BizLibrary offers great training for corporate environments and the quality and amount of training available is unmatched. I do, however, wish that they had a few options for work environments that are not corporate offices. We own and run two casinos and it is hard for our managers to relate to professionals in suits sitting behind desks. They are working managers and the environment is different. I think there is a lot of room for creating training for those that don't work in corporate environments. Hospitality, convenience stores, grocery stores, etc.

Using BizLibrary

1 - You must be creative, organized, and reliable. You must continually reach out to learners to keep learning top of mind. Your technical skills don't have to be that great because of the wonderful support you have from BizLibrary's techs.
  • Introducing learners to our culture.
  • Addressing skill gaps.
  • When we have issues that are creating problems we have a quick fix by utilizing an assignment in BizLibrary.
  • We use it to incentivize our top learners by connecting their learning to wage increase, bonuses and performance evaluations.
  • I think we continue to use it the way we are currently, it works for us.
I can't find anything else that supports our learning in the way BizLibrary does.

BizLibrary Training

It was so easy, the tech that worked with me and my client success rep were beyond helpful. If I had questions they responded immediately and were very instrumental in our success.

Configuring BizLibrary

Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - It made it ours and we wanted our learners to feel it was created for them.
No - the product does not support adding custom code
It was easy to add our own training videos and create games that pertained to our training topics.

Yes - When we first implemented our online learning we had some issues with it not opening on some of our learner's computers our IT worked with BizLibrarys and we eventually got it worked out.
I remember when we had to set up the program during implementation and the techs were amazing. I truly felt the process was a breeze all because the tech walked me through every step. I also love the fact that if I forget something or how to complete a task there are multiple tutorials on BizLibrary that walk me through the process. I have always had excellent tech support from this partner.

  • Sometimes the reports are tricky but once you figure them out it is a breeze.
Yes - Works very well. I can do anything from my tablet that I can do on my desktop at work.
It is very easy to use and when you don't know how to use something it is not hard to find out how.

BizLibrary Reliability

It truly is easy and reliable, I have never had an issue in this area.

Relationship with BizLibrary

I love the partnership I have with BizLibrary, they are a member of my team and seem vested in my success with our training. The only reason I did not give this a 10 is that I have had five different client success reps in five years so I feel consistency is lost in planning and growing our program because I have to start over with each new representative. The reps I have had have all been intelligent, helpful and creative individuals I just wish it didn't change so often. This role is so key to my success with the program I would suggest making the role appealing by giving a good salary with wonderful perks /benefits so it becomes a coveted position and we wouldn't have to change reps every year.
They are more helpful than any other vendor I have worked with in my 34 years as a professional.
You can opt to include more features or fewer on your platform, and you chose the number of years of the contract and how many users you will have in your program.
