Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud eTapestry
We use Blackbaud eTapestry as our donor database. It keeps track of donor, prospect, and alumni information, giving, and history. From this, we are able to create mailing lists, pull financial queries, and a variety of reporting for development and organizational use. It is also integrated with the Blackbaud Merchant Services, so we create online giving forms and online gifts automatically import and are acknowledged.

- Applying recurring gifts to a pledge.
- Setting max ticket amount for DI form events.
- Some ability for recurring donors to cancel recurring gifts on their own
- More in-depth querying (I used Raiser's Edge in my previous job and Blackbaud eTapestry querying/ reporting is so much less comprehensive and user-friendly.)

- Integration with BBMS for online giving
- Queries/ reporting for financial information
- I'm not sure the ROI is that clear or good. We have learned of other databases (Salesforce for ex.) that are free and could serve a small nonprofit just as well.
Blackbaud eTapestry is a MUCH more basic donor database system as compared to Raiser's Edge and much more expensive than something that Salesforce may offer.
