Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud eTapestry

ETAP tracks all information regarding donations and donors toour school.
  • very clearly presents all donor info, for example their addresses etc...
  • Has ability to report on a wide variety of information.
  • Clearly connects journal entries (donations) to donors as well as pledge information.
  • email templates
  • DIY templates
  • ease and simplicity when it comes to running even basic reports.
  • Definitely streamlined fundraising as a whole, being able to focus on groups of donors depending on the purpose.
Once you have extensive training and grasp, then it's easier.
Once I had the email of a customer service rep (from taking the training webinars) it made a huge difference to have someone to turn to with any questions.
ETAP had many features regarding the emailing we didn't use, as it was easier with Mailchimp.

ETAP is a good CRM, but not as good with emailing and graphics.
ETAP presents a better format and seems more powerful. But LGL is more intuitive and has more flexible options.

Blackbaud eTapestry was definitely trusted to manage all of our data. Super powerful when it came to its ability to run complicated reports. But hard for other staff members (who might not have been "experts") to run any reports. Required extensive experience and knowledge to be able to run simple reports. Wasn't so good with setting up and editing email templates or DIY forms.

Once I kept the email of one of the customer training managers, he helped me through any pressing times! On many occasions, he saved me and made me look great before my boss!! Thank you Geoff!

No. ETAP is expensive as it is.
During a pressing time, when I needed to know how to do something, Geoff responded quickly and followed up almost immediately with any follow-up questions I had!
