We use Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT for all non-profit accounting needs from AP to AR, treasury management, reporting, expense management and integration with Tuition Management and Raiser's Edge. The platform has drastically helped our school streamline data collection, communication between systems and expedite all processes related to accounting and back office administration.

Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT's design and security controls ensure that proper approval flows are in place and that access levels are established to support accurate handling of transaction information. The reporting options of the tool allow for information to be extracted in an organized and timely manner that in turn provides end users the ability to evaluate and analyze information that is crucial to monitoring activities and making effective decisions.

Financial Edge NXT Organization Visibility

While we have not yet fully taken advantage of all that the custom dashboard tool provides, there are several out of the box dashboard features that have given our staff the ability to more easily monitor activities related to treasury management, expense management, and project specific revenues and expenses. Given the tool's excellence in other areas, I am certain that the dashboard tool will serve us well once we give more attention to working with the it.

For non-profit specific accounting use cases, Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT provides a robust, yet very user friendly interface that supports all operational accounting, reporting, and regulatory needs. When coupled with other Blackbaud products (Tuition Management, Raiser's Edge, etc.), Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is a very powerful and effective tool for education management. I appreciate Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT's ability to provide in depth functionality without being so much that it is overwhelming and difficult to use.
