Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT
I use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT primarily for alumni and donation management in higher ed.
Pros
- It is very user friendly and intuitive.
- Very well organized and easy to pull information.
- Easy to view information about a person at a glance.
Cons
- More of a match to Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT database view.
- I would like to see the donor portal functionality that I hear about but don't see in mine yet.
- Donation entry and reporting features.
- Alumni information features.
- Saved time by a very simple reporting process.
- Increased donations because we can pull specific lists and info for email and mail campaigns.
- Much easier to understand reporting so that donations and alumni engagement can be worked on each year.
Analytics gives fundraisers a starting point when you are overwhelmed and don't know where to begin. It is great information to have on hand when researching donors and it can give important information to know before approaching donors.

Talisma was very difficult to use and was a major headache to pull information from, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is a dream and so easy to understand compared to Talisma.
