Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

Currently we use reconciliations and tasks. We use tasks to help track our close time and keep our close at 4 days. We use reconciliations as just a repository at the moment, but I am hoping we can get to using more of the system.

Cons

  • Report scheduling - currently there is no ability to schedule a report to avoid holidays and weekends
  • increased closing speed
  • increased visibility
BlackLine University is unparalleled in its offerings based on other similar softwares I have worked with. I'm not having to learn things from random reddit threads of youtube videos

While we don't currently use it, transaction matching is where I know we will eventually find the most success
