Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
We use almost all of the products offered by BlackLine - Account Reconcialiation, Task Management, ICH, FRA, Journal Entry, Studio 360. BL helps us streamline all our financial close items. We have now less to worry about MEC activities, compliance and getting things done.
Pros
- We have successfully achieved over 70% auto-reconciliation.
- Streamlined all our month end close tasks using their task management.
- Achieved over 30% automated journal entries.
Cons
- APIs for Validation, Dependent Validation, and Static Description tables
- Adding metadata/field description for all the fields in reporting module
- Allowing user info to update all fields using users template
- We saved almost 40% FTEs with process enhancements and optimizations.
