Overall Satisfaction with Bloomreach Composable Personalization Cloud

We are using Bloomreach to manage our customer database, our personalized customer relation through direct communication channels as well as our ecommerce personalized product recommendation engine. We manage a dozen brands across a dozen markets and about 30 digital properties through Bloomreach personalization. We manage emails, WhatsApp, notification and SMS through the platform.

Pros

  • Reporting is hard to organize and standardized

  • investment in Ai helps automate more and more functions
It really depends on the people managing the account and the customer success managers. Their expertise, accessibility and knowledge of the organization and business objectives is making the difference. Information about roadmap, help with optimization and speedy delivery of solution is not always consistent. The change in people attached to the account usually triggers a drop in support efficiencies.
The Loomi function is still not reliable or useful for the most important aspect of the platform. the insights are very basics and not relevant. The journey creation is not yet available and that would be the best use of AI. The creative aspect is also very manual and could use AI recommendations similar to Designer function in PowerPoint. Ai should also be able to generate a complete dashboard relevant to teh business with insights updated with every refresh.
Bloomreach is robust product that benefits from steady investment and some good experience. It lacks some of the latest automations and has a cost structure that is hard to manage and monitor. It is not user friendly but does accomplish most of the tasks we want to complete with a CRM and a personalization platform. It would benefit from easier integration with ecommerce platform and a more agile CDP and Content management solution.

Bloomreach is well suited to manage offline and online CRM database and omnichannel campaigns. It is well suited for multi market and multi brand approach and segmentation. It is less suited for non dedicated teams as it required much attention and manual setups. It is costly and is better suited for large organization.
