Happy to be a BlueJeans user
Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
It is used for the board of directors meetings, and for all meetings with staff or athletes. We are a small organization with a staff of only 6 people and a board of directors of 10 people. I am the executive director and I am the only one who schedules all the meetings, so it is easy to follow up for all the attendants to be part of the meeting.
Pros
- Connectivity and quality of it.
- Security.
- Screen sharing.
Cons
- Can't use back panel.
- Raise hand... not so friendly.
- Webinars not so friendly.
- Helps the organization going on.
- Our directors are always traveling so it's the perfect solution for not canceling a Board Meeting.
- Is a simpler way to connect with many athletes at the same time.
Well I selected BlueJeans because we are a sports organisation, and in the International Olympic Committee this is the platform that they used. I normally use to work with Fuze personally, because of their security, but then we got to know BlueJeans and stayed there. After that Zoom became popular, but we have been always against it because of their lack of security.

Evaluating BlueJeans and Competitors
- Third-party Reviews
It was used by the most important organization in sports, that is the International Olympic Committee, so that was good enough for us! And our IT company recommend to us this platform because it was a very secure one in comparison with others on the market, so we decide to go with BlueJeans.
Now that meeting platforms are so popular, I am not sure if we might have chosen differently, but at least we will make a more informed decision. BlueJeans is a great platform but maybe it is being slow to innovate and keep up other competitors so probably we might make the same selection because of the IOC, but not because we think BlueJeans is the best.
