Overall Satisfaction with Box

We use Box for sharing files internally within our company. We use Box Sync to backup important documents on our local machines and use it to securely share large print files with our clients. Box is currently being used by our marketing, product and admissions departments to share documents, images, videos and internal forms.

  • Box Sync keeps all files updated, in real-time.
  • Box allows us to upload large files quickly via the browser or desktop programs.
  • Box has an API we utilize for some internal tools.
  • The Box API is thorough, but it is difficult to learn about various methods available.
  • Box helps us back up our computers, saving our IT department space and time.
  • Box allows us to run reports without additional hardware, via their API.
  • Box helps us share files within the company easily and without any interruptions.
Box is as simple to use as the others, however, the Single Sign-on feature is what makes it a viable tool for our company.
Box's best feature is that it is simple to use. I can drag files to a folder on my computer and have them appear in the browser, making sharing large files with colleagues painless. It also allows us to take advantage of Single Sign-On, so we don't have to log in to the web application, saving us a step.
