Overall Satisfaction with Box

I use Box to store my own files. I also share it with my team (like a Google Drive of sorts). Sometimes, we use it to view and send files from clients. It helps us with time management and cuts down on emails. It also helps us to avoid losing documents.
  • Organization is great
  • Cost is good
  • Nice alternative to Dropbox
  • I suppose pricing can always be lower.
  • More storage space for the price.
  • Longer free trial periods.
  • Scalability.
  • Remote access.
  • Sharing documents with select groups.
  • Box has helped us cut our time in checking emails.
  • Box has helped us cut our time worrying about where files are located or finding things.
  • Box has helped us turn our attention to other things.
Dropbox and Box are similar, but we like the interface for Box a bit more. In addition, its pricing better suits our storage needs and remote team. It's a great choice for startups or teams that are fully remote, whether just during the pandemic or all the time, before and after.

Do you think Box delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Box's feature set?

Yes

Did Box live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Box go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Box again?

Yes

Box is very well-suited to teams like ours that are fully remote. It might be less useful for a team that all works within the same office, where everyone already has access to a server (whether hard or in the cloud). If they do all have access to an internal server, Box wouldn't fill much of a need.
