Overall Satisfaction with Box

Box is mainly used for file and media sharing, for example documents and powerpoints. It is used by the entire organization very frequently. It provides a secure way to share content. It helps you to set privileges and other permissions easily which is very important considering that data is highly classified.
  • Security
  • Integration with other Enterprise software
  • Ease of sharing
  • Ease of access
  • Overall user experience with respect to management of folders and files
  • UI could better and more intuitive
  • Editing files on the go is not possible
  • Lack of presence in industry
  • Security
  • Ease of access
  • Managing user privileges
  • Security is the best part of Box which enables us to share confidential documents via Box.
  • Editing documents feature can be added. This is the primary con.
  • More presence in enterprise and integrations with other platforms is needed.
Box performs well with respect to privileges and access that can be modified for a file. It is very important from a security point of view. But products like Google Drive and OneDrive have better user experiences. They allow editing documents easily. But Box does not do that. Box can improve here and make lot more integrations with other platforms.

Would you buy Box again?

No

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Cisco Webex Calling, Microsoft Office 2016 (discontinued)
It is appropriate while sharing classified documents and media fiiles . Also if the files are large then Box is good platform to share on. Many times when you are sharing simple files which are not confidential, you don't need that. Also Box has a lesser presence in the enterprise applications.
