Overall Satisfaction with Brightpearl

We paid a lot of money for initial set up which was far from perfect and even today customer importations have not been correctly set up. Personally I would not recommend that you pay for set up in advance and instead start from scratch and learn by playing with your trial account, its actually very easy.
It's ok... slow responses are common. I find it difficult to understand why Brightpearl charges a premium for phone support on top of an already expensive product.
We use Brightpearl to manage our orders from third party eCommerce sites such as ebay and Amazon; in particular the postage with Royal Mail.

  • Hassle free management of orders.
  • Easy to set up new orders and take payment with credit cards such as SagePay.
  • Complicated accounts package set up more towards medium and large businesses.
  • Slow support.
  • Add-on extensions are pricey.
  • Better customer service.
  • More professional service. Quick to highlight repeat customers and also straight forward for re-ordering etc.
Brightpearl is best for eCommerce based companies who deal with eBay and Amazon and need integration with third party shipping couriers etc. It is also perfect for taking orders over the phone.
