Overall Satisfaction with Broadvoice
We use Broadvoice for the phone system at our church. We have people in different offices, each with their own extension. We like the auto-attendant feature to route calls to the appropriate person after hours. We also like the b-hive mobile app where the extension can ring to a person's personal cell phone. The voicemail option to email individuals is also an option that we use.
Pros
- Auto-attendant to route calls to the correct person, even with specific messages for each option.
- Voicemail to text through email
- Reliability - the phone system is rarely down
Cons
- We find the "holiday" office hours to be a little cumbersome when we are only closed for part of the day. This could definitely just be a training problem with our staff.
- When we change a person's name in the admin site, it does not always update on the phone's address book.
- As mentioned, our phone system is not too complicated. I think we are paying slightly less than our previous vendor costs about 5 years ago when we switched. But the value is about the same.
