We use Broadvoice & B-hive for two businesses. Pediatric Offices at Willow Bend uses Broadvoice for all of our phone communications which includes patients' incoming & outgoing calls, voicemails, intercom, faxes, etc. For Wellness at the Spa, we use B-hive for all our incoming calls and messages for our clients. It’s used more on the weekend for anyone attempting to make a last-second appointment on that particular day. The problems that we had at certain points were changing names and re-setting extension numbers, cycling the phones, making sure their TCP settings were correct, and making sure incoming calls were set to the correct user so we wouldn’t miss patient calls. With Wellness we used Broadvoice to make sure the phones were turned over and set to the employee on call for weekend calls from potential or current clients. If the call was missed, we used B-hive for our voicemail needs. Voicemails are also sent as alerts to us via email so we know there are missed calls.

It is fantastic for land line calls and faxes. I still think the B-hive app needs a lot of work. It is not very user friendly for someone who isn’t very technically savvy as far as figuring out IP addresses, subnet mask, routers and such.

We use Broadvoice as a VOIP phone system. It has voicemail, the b-hive application for mobile devices, and we also make and receive phone calls.
  • The phone calls are clear and haven't had any dropped calls.
  • The voicemail is great, having the option to email and manage via the portal.
  • The B-Hive application works well as an away-from-desk phone option.
  • The b-hive web portal - the interface is basic (which makes it easy to navigate).
  • The b-hive portal - invoicing needs to have a better system of printing and viewing invoices.
  • Payment reminders - this needs to happen if you don't have your account on autopay.
This is a great VOIP option for any company that doesn't want to do hosted on-prem voice. Because the phones just need internet and power, they are easy to use in many scenarios. This is exceptionally good for small to medium businesses that just don't need to be bothered with a phone system. Also, if the power or internet goes out, since it is all hosted in the cloud, no missed calls.

We use Broadvoice for our phone system within our company. By implementing Broadvoice, we were able to reduce our phone bill. The B-hive system allows us to manage our calls more efficiently. We are able to respond quicker to our customers if an employee is away and direct calls to the appropriate employee. On a management level, we were able to see the number of phone calls missed and response time.

Having the Broadvoice B-system came thru for us when the internet went down at our location. We were able to login into the Broadvoice systems from our phones and forward all calls to our cell phones. This allowed our contact with our customers to go interrupted. This is seen as a great advantage to our company so we could continue business and keep our customers happy.

Broadvoice is our communication solution for the entire organization. It allows admin to field calls and direct the calls to the appropriate person, whether the they are in the office, on-site, remote or in transit. It allows the sales and service team member to be out in front of customers and still be connected to the office and receive calls directly.

  • Ability to have calls forwarded through the b-hive app keeps people from being tied to their desk phone.

  • The billing department is a little hard to reach.
  • There has been a couple issues with service interruptions.
  • The upgrades to the b-hive app have not been seamless.
Broadvoice works well with our company's mobile workforce. The ease of call transfer/forwarding gives our employees piece of mind that when an important customer issue arises, they can be reached to help resolve the issue. We pride ourselves on quick response times and great customer service and Broadvoice is a partner that helps us achieve this goal without sacrificing workforce mobility.

We use broadvoice as our primary source of communication within our offices.
We have 5 office locations. Each office has the ability to transfer calls and buzz into all of the other offices using the VOIP feature.

We are able to make 1 phone payment using broadvoice. They supply our phones and our service.

The customer service is seamless. We almost always get someone on the phone and a solution in the same day.

The reports and the stats that the portal offers are great for our leaders to access to see office productivity.

When our services were being installed we had multiple representatives on the phone with us and in-person to ensure it was a smooth process. The in-person tech was so kind to every be the voice on all of our voicemails. It is the extra steps that sold us.

We are a marine dealership that uses the system for all departments. We are able to utilize both the desktop phones and Bhive app which allows our employees to be available to take calls any place they might be when a call comes in. It has definitely been a beneficial in allowing us to meet our customers needs.

The Price of Broadvoice's packages are much more affordable and offers many of the features other phone companies do for a lower price. The portal is full of great features and easy to navigate. Having to oversee 25 brokers and phones lines couldn't be easier without their support team. They are happy to help and guide me through issues and recommend other ways to utilize their platform better. Some of the business problems the product addresses would be Broadvoice's administration portal is not as easy to navigate. Even though their customer support team is always ready to help, I wish there was more clarity on how to do different things. Visual aids might help guide a business manager such as myself. Sometimes I don't have time to sit on the phone with someone.

Broadvoice is being used across our whole organization. The auto-attendant is an excellent way to alleviate our overworked receptionist. Now our customer can contact our staff directly. It helped when COVID hit us, and we had to have staff work remotely since they can take their phones anywhere with an internet connection.
  • Customer service.

  • Up to date on current issues and when they will be resolved.
  • Quickly handing any issue we have.
  • Make B-Hive easer to navigate.
  • Faxing features could use more work.
  • Improve network through the phone. Have issues when the phone has problems; the computer can't connect to the network when it's going through it.
They work well for small businesses with limited IT staff. Not sure how it would work for a larger company since it was tedious to change names on the phones. Sometimes I have to contact support to help with it when the name changes to take effect on the phone from the portal.

We were using it in our office until later last year when due to Covid, we all started working remotely from home. We had been using the hardware phone units while in the office.... since then, we have transitioned to using the b-hive app for our whole organization on the US side (we have a Brazil team as well). It works great. I love having the app on my phone with a different ring tone and texting abilities that still keep my work things separate from my personal things all on one device. And also appreciate calling out using the app so that the phone number that appears in my work number and not my personal on their caller ID. It has been very convenient to only have one device and do it all, and not having to have two phones to drag around everywhere I go. Works like a charm!!!
  • Being able to differentiate between your personal and work numbers on the same device.
  • Having the convenience of my work number access even when I am working while out of town.
  • Being able to use the app to send and receive text messages from my work number.
  • For the most part it works great, but sometimes the reception isn't as clear as I would like it to be. Not sure what can be done to improve that.
It is well suited for organizations where there are traveling salespeople, or as in our case, we are all working remotely and need to be contacting clients, vendors, other work associates. Less needed if you are working in a physical office, or you don't really need to be making calls consistently that are work-related.

We use Broadvoice as our VoIP communication. We also use it for faxes. It is being used by everyone at our organization. Broadvoice has great features within its portal like creating a call tree for our membership. If we ever run into any problems with Broadvoice they are quickly resolved by their tech team at any time of the day.

Good customer service. I can call and normally within the same day my issues are resolved. Can improve on certain functions like call forwarding voicemail. Our call forwarding voicemail stopped working so we had to change our call tree. Broadvoice is aware but they have still not resolved and it has been months now.
