Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Earlier. was facing issues n doing automation testing in multiple devices in parallel. It is easy to integrate in our existing code and do the testing.
Also, able to test the application in multiple android devices and also different systems/machines.
It is very helpful tool, able to test the apps very easily for doing UI/Responsiveness testing.

Challenges Overcome

Mostly documentations and steps are very helpful. But we faced a little challenge with quota limit specifically in case of mobile devices. So, getting app tested parallely on different device models on cheaper plans are little challenging.

We used these products for mobile app testing. We had one app developed in react native with some real time capabilities. To do kind of load testing, we need to run this on multiple devices to check the socket load on server and app performance. We took help from BrowserStack to run it on multiple devices of multiple models.
Additionally it helps us to complete testing on android as well as ios.

Alternatives Considered

LambdaTest and Copado

BrowserStack provides User-friendly UI which helps me to easily use the tool and also configuration via code is easy, we have to just add the config JSON and update the devices there on which we want to automate. Realtime view of the app is a plus point, reporting is also there.

its very appropriate and helpful where established product or feature is in place and we want to ship enhancements or features. Automation test suites here, help to ensure that nothing is breaking and gives confidence in release.
its little less suited while aggressive development where design is changing. Updating the test script always and keeping it up to date is challenging in development phase thats more likely for for how automation test suits are written.
