Overall Satisfaction with Canto

We use Canto as a digital asset manager. It is used by our graphic designers for all our projects, as well as freelancers. Additionally, our wholesale retail partners and store teams have access to the platform to obtain imagery. Finally, our PR team uses it to send through assets to our media partners. We love having one resource to keep all of our images in one place and accessible to the right people!

  • Great for tagging assets.
  • User experience could be a bit more intuitive.
  • Canto makes sharing assets across partners so easy that it saves payroll hours and errors in communication.
I personally have not compared other resources as Canto was in place when I started. I do know that it is well respected and we have had an easy onboarding of new users to the platform.
It is a little hard to grasp the user experience at first.
They always respond ASAP and offer additional insight when needed.

Canto works really well for a medium to large-sized organization to use it as a way to save assets that are evergreen and need to be accessed by numerous partners. It is great for sharing assets with external partners through linking too, so it makes it really great for PR.
