Overall Satisfaction with Canto
We use Canto to organize all of the photos for the marketing and communications department. The library uses Canto as a place to store scans of archival photos for university use.
- Bulking uploading to albums or folders
- Facial recognition is very impressive
- easily search for photos
- easy to navigate
- Better integration with InDesign
- Saving our university money in the long- term from having to update and maintain our own servers.
Our university used an open source DAM called ResourceSpace. Even though it was free, it took a lot of time to maintain and the search function was clunky.
